As of Feb 16th, 2022 Fane was appointed to become a commissioner for the senior citizens commission for the city of San Jose, representing disctrict 7. The senior citizens commission listens to concerns and issues related to senior citizens. She will be a great asset to the commission as she is compassionate about assisting the seniors.
